I am always seeking home: in the landscape, in the company of others, and in the realm of the intangible in myself.  I combine my own photography with the marks of my hand to tell a story that may be more holistic than the usual way of perceiving. I balance the realism of photography with the emotion and spirit of paint, ink, and other media.  Sometimes things fall apart, and my work is as much about putting things back together physically as learning more about the spiritual aspects of the place or situation, in a form of reflection and healing.  I am deeply concerned with the environment, and the impact and relationship of humanity with our mother earth.
