Artist Statement My work explores various media: my own photography and the marks of my hand tell a story that may be more holistic than the usual way of perceiving. I balance the realism of photography with the emotion and spirit of paint, ink, and other media. Sometimes things fall apart, and my work is as much about putting things back together physically or creating a new reality as exploring the intuitive and metaphysical aspects of the place or situation. The land is my muse, and the resulting artwork is both mysterious, and accessible.
